Pop Up Beer Garden

Monday, July 14

Chef Barrows and Kitchen are hosting a pop-up Beer Garden next Monday. They have invited Sam Suchoff from The Pig and all the guys from Steel String Brewery to come over and show summer who is boss with beer, pork and fun! No reservations needed, just show up and enjoy beer on tap from Carrboro-based craft brewery Steel String and sausages and more from Sam at The Pig. There is no better way to start the week than with local food and drink at your friendly neighborhood bistro.

Kitchen participates in Farm to Fork 2014

Farm to Fork is a annual event/fundraiser for The Center for Environmental Farming Systems and Plant @ Breeze Farm. The proceeds go to the new farmer training programs at CEFS and The Breeze Farm. Kitchen was excited to participate this year and help celebrate local food and local farms. Dick was paired with Parker Farm and Vineyard for the 2014 picnic. He prepared Chilled Minestrone with Herb Pesto with the beautiful veggies and herbs from Parker Farm and everyone loved it. Learn more at farmtoforknc.com
