Farm to Fork 2016


We are excited to announce that we will be participating in this year’s Farm to Fork Picnic on Sunday, June 5th, from 4-7pm! Italian Wine Dinner

Kitchen is going Italian on Monday, May 23rd at 7pm. Join us for five delicious courses paired with memorable Italian wines provided by our friends at Haw River Wine Man. We expect a sell out, so be sure to call (919) 537-8167 to ensure your spot.


Oyster and Muscadet Brunch March 20th

Join us Sunday March 20th for our second-ever Kitchen brunch featuring Rappahannock Oysters paired with bright and crisp Muscadet from respected organic and biodynamic producer, Jo Landron. Come see one of the truest expressions of French terroir with its natural food pairing!

We’ll start with fresh oysters on the half shell shucked to order and served with Jo’s beautiful sparkling wine, “Atmosphéres”, then sit down to two more courses paired with two of Landron’s exquisite, eye-opening Muscadets. Jo will be at the brunch to discuss the wines and live jazz complete the meal.

Leap Day Beer Dinner

This year we get a “Leap Day” on Monday, February 29th…a whole extra day for you to enjoy. We can’t think of a better way to celebrate than our Leap Day Beer Dinner at 6:30pm on the 29th. We will be serving four delicious courses each perfectly paired with a beer from Devils Backbone Brewing Company. Cost is $45 per person, and the menu is below. French Wine Dinner February 16th

Love is in the air! And we have several ways to celebrate.

For those traditionalists who want an incredible meal on Sunday, February, 14th, we will be offering our normal menu as well as a 3-course prix-fixe menu. We are currently accepting reservations for that evening, so give us a call to book your table.

If you find romance in a six-course meal paired with incredible French wines from Clos Troteligotte, we are hosting a special dinner on February 15th. Cost is $75 per person, and the menu is below. This one will sell out, so call us to reserve your spot!


Oktoberfest Pop-Up Beer Garden


On Monday, October 12th from 5-9pm, Kitchen will transform into an Oktoberfest Pop-Up Beer Garden featuring Starpoint Brewing and longtime friend of Kitchen, artisan sausage maker Steve George.

Steve has a long history in the Philadelphia food scene, from running a food truck at Temple University to working for the former Chef de Cuisine of the renown Le Bec Fin. Steve discovered his passion for curing and sausage making while working at D’Artagnan, one of the best specialty meat purveyors on the East Coast.

Get ready for incredible beer, Steve’s superb handcrafted sausages, and a special menu of many Kitchen favorites. No reservations needed.



September 28th Red Wine Dinner

June 29th Fifth Anniversary Dinner

It’s hard to believe that our restaurant is five years old. We just want to thank everyone who has helped and supported us in this adventure, our customers and coworkers.

We feel so lucky to have been welcomed into the community, and we happily consider Chapel Hill our home.

Going forward we hope to continue to improve and be what we started out to be — a friendly neighborhood bistro.
